Spring Into Fitness

May is National Physical Fitness and Sports Month: a great time to reset, renew and rededicate yourself to living an active and healthy lifestyle. Summer is just about here and it is time to get outside, enjoy the beautiful weather and engage in some good old fashion physical activity. My mom just purchased a new bike to kick off summer, but you don’t need a ton of equipment to get moving. Get up and go for a brisk walk or jog,  throw around a frisbee or gather the neighbors for a fun game of kickball. When I was younger I grew up on a court with tons of kids. We could not wait for the first warm day of the year. We played endless hours of man-hunt, basketball and even painted bases on our street for endless games of baseball. Times have changed, internet and video games have taken over, but I am here to offer some tips on how to ‘Spring Into Fitness’ today, thanks to my friends over BHG360!

BHG360° conducted an informal survey of a variety of health and fitness bloggers, from active mothers like Mackenzie McKee to certified trainers like Leslie Ann Quillen. They were asked to share their tips and advice about working out and staying in shape—and how to keep up the motivation. As you can see from this snapshot of health-minded individuals, those of us interested in living well tend to use many different strategies and regimens to complement our lifestyle and reach our fitness goals.
