As a baby of the 80’s…my friends and I became kids of the 90’s, and for whatever reason my parents allowed us to watch ‘In Living Color’. Jim Carrey and the Wayans Brothers were stars, but for me…it was all about the FLY GIRLS! My mom and dad put me back into dance when I was 9, and that is when it became an obsession. I would watch the Fly Girls at night and try to do all of their moves. Back then it wasn’t all twearking and hip thrusting, it was the Roger Rabbit and the Cabbage Patch. It was because of them that I landed a Running Man solo in my first dance recital. Literally, tip walk, tip walk, tip walk, box step, center stage and RUNNING MAN, RUNNING MAN, RUNNING MAN! I was officially addicted to the stage, and not much has changed in twenty years.
90’s fashion is popping up all over these days. From Rihanna’s new line with Puma, to half up-half down hair and Adidas Originals. I have been working a ton with Zappo’s, and was able to shoot some kick-butt Adidas Originals coming soon. Oversize jackets, high waisted shorts and fresh kicks make this look crazy, sexy cool.
