I know it has been over a week since my last post, but I had to spend the time thoroughly enjoying the holidays, and that I did! My mom came to town, we saw old family friends, and enjoyed the warm Florida sunshine. Although 80 and sunny is not your typical cozy Christmas weather, everyone else must have enjoyed the balmy temps as well! Cory and I are gearing up for a trip to Europe in a couple of weeks, and while we are on vacay we really like to workout every day. We walk a ton, utilize fitness centers and I really love utilizing apps since every hotel has wifi these days. As stated in many previous posts I almost always incorporate health and fitness apps into my regular fitness regimen. So without further ado here are my top apps to help increase your health and fitness in 2016:

1-Nike Training Club NTC is always going to be on the top of my list because not only did it help me kickstart my own health and fitness journey, but they helped me get MAJOR results from my living room in a very short period of time. You can work your full body or target certain areas. You can train at all levels and with some of the best in the business! Oh, and it is free.

2- Sweat With Kayla: Kayla Itsines has taken the social media world by storm. Her millions of #BBGs are her devoted followers, and have gotten some incredible results! Check her out on Instagram or download her app today! You can try a free 7-day trial and then continue her daily workout and meal plans for less than $1.00 per day.

3-Sworkit: Sworkit is an app that fits your schedule! Sworkit routines guide you through video exercises demonstrated by professional personal trainers. It syncs with both MyFitnessPal and the Health App! Achieve your fitness goals along with over 19 million other users who have already downloaded the app. My favorite part about this Sworkit is creating your own custom workouts. This is great for small places or for anyone recovering from an injury.  I could go on and on about this app, but for an on-the-go person like me, this should be your g0-to!

4-FitStar Personal Trainer: If you are a fan of NFL star Tony Gonzalez, and any women should be, then this is the app for you! FitStar is hosted by the former Atlanta Falcon and all around  hunk. He helps you craft a personalized workout plan you will actually want to use! If you cannot make it to the gym you can always meet with your FitStar PT.
