It is that time again. I have teamed up with my friends at Beat The Gym to bring you a great recipe for a chicken mixture that can be used for meatballs, burger patties or meatloaf. It is a salty-sweet mixture that even your kids will love. While cooking with meat, always try to use free-range or grass fed meat. Your meat should be hormone and antibiotic free. If there is anywhere to spend your hard earned cash. I would suggest you spend it is on your protein. Ingredients: 

4 Chopped Dates

2 Chopped Green Onions

1 Tsp Sage

1 Tbs Celery Seed

2 Celery Stalks

1 Lb Ground Chicken

1/2 C Cooked Quinoa With Onions

1 tbs Whole Grain Mustard

2 Tbs of Goat Cheese or Creamy Cheese

1 Egg

Directions:

Meatballs: Combine all of the ingredients listed above. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Place a spoonful of the mixture in a greased mini muffin tin or on a greased baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes or until firm to the touch.

Burgers: Combine all ingredients listed above. Form patties and preheat a pan with ghee or grass-fed butter. Cook over medium heat, low and slow until patty reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees.

Meatloaf: Combine all ingredients listed above. Place mixture in a greased loaf pan. Cover and cook at 375 degrees for an hour or until loaf reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees.
