If you think about women’s tennis; what are the first names that come to your mind? Venus and Serena obviously, right?! Watching the U.S. Open is always one of the highlights of my summer. I even got the chance to attend last year with one of my best friends. The energy in Arthur Ashe Stadium is always electric. When I was approached by EleVen by Venus Williams to become a brand ambassador it was a no brainer. Why? Well, EleVen by Venus Williams is more than a brand; it’s a lifestyle, as seen through the eyes of one of the most celebrated female athletes in history.

A fun fact you may not know about Venus is that she holds a B.S. in Business Administration, and uses her degree in fashion to be involved in every single aspect of EleVen; from design and marketing to helping to choose the brand ambassadors! Not only does she create fashion, but Venus also owns an interior design business called VStarr Interiors, and as an investor whose ventures include becoming with her sister the first African-American women to buy shares of an NFL team, an author who has written a best-selling book, and an advocate for gender and pay equality. Venus is not just another celebrity endorsing product, but a powerhouse woman with a clear vision of her future. She shows no sign of slowing down, and I cannot wait to share more from EleVen by Venus Williams in the near future.

If you saw Venus compete at the U.S. Open this week, then you must have noticed her tennis dress [which is now SOLD OUT btw!] Well that was a design by the CEO, ‘Girlboss’ herself!
