When I first began blogging I felt the need to document my own health and fitness journey, and decided to begin at home. I was going to learn how to cook healthy food in my own kitchen and I was determined to get back into fighting shape. With the help of my newly-found, health-centric culinary prowess and many thanks to Nike Training Club, I’m Fit and Happy as well as Blogilates I worked my way to a happier, healthier me. My motto has always been wife-foodie-home fitness junkie, and I am always looking for great ways to get a sweat going at home. Last year, I was on set with FILA and our amaze makeup artist Julia Dalton Brush (That is literally her last name…talk about perfect for a makeup artist?!) told me she was getting a home spin bike where she can remote login, and take class from the comfort of her own home. She was so excited and although I hadn’t tried too many spin classes at that time, I loved her passion and excitement about the bike.
Fast forward a year, and I found myself at a casting for Peloton Cycle. As I hopped on the bike and started taking photos I realized that there was someone live instructing me to go faster, slower, up and down in resistance, and motivated me second by second. Before I knew it I was sucked into the fast-paced world of cycling, with hard hitting beats, but the best part it all…I was still in a casting studio. I learned very quickly that this was a very different, and very special bike. One that I heard about before, but have never seen anything like it in person.
So who is Peloton Cycle and how do they differ from other indoor bikes available? Peloton delivers rides from the top cycling coaches in the world. All workouts are filmed at their NYC studio and 10 plus classes are streamed to your bike live every. single. day. There are also three hundred plus rides available on demand to bust out at your leisure. This bike will set you back a pretty penny, but will save you on gas and time. A bike costs $1,995 plus $39 for monthly unlimited classes, after you purchase the bike, you may never have to leave your home for a workout again. You can share the bike with as many family members and friends as you like! All you need is an account. Anyone who has ever ridden a bike knows that cycling is a great low-impact workout with MAJOR results. If you are looking for the next big thing in home fitness…Peloton Cycle is it.
Luckily, I was booked on the job this past March, and was honored to shoot their most recent campaign. I was given have a fake husband, baby and a brownstone in Brooklyn (I love you Cory). We shot by live streaming a class and going for it with with every ounce of energy we had! Peloton is a wonderful company, and I am so thankful to work with brands that make living an active and healthy lifestyle not only convenient, but so much fun!
Love and Peloton,
Taylor
