Dresses and rompers and flight suites, oh my! Let’s be honest, every girl has sacrificed comfort for cuteness at some point in time, but as I get older I have decided that it is just NOT worth it. There is nothing worse than a night out constantly pulling shorts down, lifting a top up or completely regretting those unrealistically high stilettos. Although I do love separates and am totally into silk pants and lightweight tops for date night right now, I am also loving rompers, dresses and jumpsuits. When one piece can make you feel effortlessly cool and chic, I am like GAME ON.
I wore my first jumpsuit by Rachel Roy to my best friends rehearsal dinner two years ago. It was silk, paired with a black men’s style blazer and a red lip: I felt two parts strong and sexy. I also own a basic black silk jumpsuit from H & M that I snagged for $29.95 while in New York this spring. It’s ruffled top and cinched waist makes it seem like a two-piece giddy up, but it’s not. Plus…you can do high kicks in a jumpsuit without showing off your hoo-ha. High kicks tend to be a problem in those pesky bandage dresses we all have laying around. #ThanksKim Speaking of laying around, I started to search around for fabulous jumpsuits that followed my favorite ‘athleisure’ trend. To fall into the athleisure category a piece must be made of a cozy fabric, feel effortlessly cool and transitionally chic. You must be able to dress these pieces up or down and traveling easy is a given.
I stumbled across Nesh NYC a few months back on Instagram, when one of my fav Wilhelmina Babes posted a photo in their clothes. Made in the USA, Nesh NYC is taking athleisure duds to new heights. With the softest light as a feather tops, amazing layering bralettes, tights and my new personal favorite jumper, aptly named the Flight Suit. The Flight Suit makes me feel like an absolute ‘Top Gun’. The cozy cotton is so soft I feel like I am wearing my favorite jammies. The mesh detail and plunging neckline make me feel like I have ‘Who Run The World? Girls!’ On blast in my head. I decided to show this piece dressed up with my StellaValle Earrings, Jessica Simpson Heels (Here is a similar pair for only $44.90) and H & M Shades. In this outfit I feel ready for anything, but click here to see how this jumpsuit can be paired with your fav kicks and take on a laid-back cool-girl edge.

I love your outfit and your accessories! I think jumpsuits, rompers and playsuits are such easy clothing pieces to wear and are also very comfortable 🙂
