7 Smoothie Recipes to Get You Through the Week

Smoothie Recipes

I cannot believe the time has come for us to move out of our home in Miami and start the process of heading west to the Bay Area. Honestly, the hardest part is behind us and in 20 days we will officially be California residents. During this time of transition, I am trying to keep my health and wellness on track by putting my nutrition first. Smoothies are such a great way to get servings of fruits and veggies, protein and omegas all in one place. My tips to create a healthy smoothie is to always blend a serving of greens and keep the fruit down to one serving. Always add protein and utilize spices to rev metabolism.

For each recipe, chop produce and blend all ingredients. I use my Nutribullet multiple times per day since I can use the cups to go and it is super easy to clean. I like smoothies vs juicing because you still get all the fiber needed to sweep your digestive tract and keep you full and satisfied!
